LCS Mint is a medium-maturity variety adapted in much of the region, excellent in northern locations. As it is photoperiod sensitive, its maturity relative to others can vary a bit from year to year. It will wait for longer, sunny days to break dormancy. LCS Mint has very good acid soil tolerance. This hard red winter wheat’s drought tolerance is excellent. It also has excellent milling and baking quality.
